I Can Trust

Prologue

The good inherits trouble and the evil man finds gold. The fool wins the grand prize but the noble man dies in pain. Life is not based on justice. We sow and we reap, but that is not all we do. Good is not just for the good. Evil is a tool in the hand of God. A tool to make unknowable things. Things no human would even dream of becoming. Thinks like holy, divine, pure and long-suffering. But not just these. More things like trusting, peaceful and wonderful.

Story

I can trust
If I know the rules
How to win, how to lose

I can trust
If life is just
If the reward is equal to the effort

I can trust
If grace doesn’t mean injustice
For me

I can trust
If I understand
If it all makes sense

I can trust
If it fits my idea of God
If God performs according to my judgment

I can trust
If dreams come true
If selfishness is a part of glorious

I can trust
If the pain is small, or short
If the cost is not a cross

I can trust
If God stays small
If the universe is understandable

I can trust
If it all works out
If the battle is over by morning

Can I trust
By the grace of God
I can trust.
