What will happen

After a decade of honoring the three days of the Global Bridegroom Fast, I still wonder what will happen over the next three days.  My shift officially starts in about 5 min, and I wonder if I will be the one who changes this time. Maybe God will direct me to pray for someone in a desperate hour of need.  Maybe I will never know what this season of life accomplished. 

Bearing the fruit of faithfulness is not the same as reaping self-rewarding praise or profit.  Yet as servants of the Lord, we all should be good at doing His will in hiddenness.  This does not mean we live without praise, but learn instead to have our praise come from the Father.  Being with the Master is a great reward. 

So if you – like me are pushing forward in this hour to do what you are called to do.  If you feel like most of your life is in hiddenness.  If you have been being faithful for decades.  Good on on!!!!  And may it be the goodness of the Lord.
