Why do we serve the Lord

Do we judge Him by our gain

Are our sins against Him

At who’s alter do we worship

Cries can be heard in the buildings

Called His house

Cry’s of ‘build me up”

“love me”

“anoint me”

“make my life better”

Yet the wealth He has given us

Is shared among other gods

“I desire” takes more and more

“I need” increases as a nursing child

“I must have” celebrates eternal life

Worship must be, must absolutely be, man centered

Truth served as a personal choice

Love, what we receive

Greatness, the promise to all

Captivity is coming

It must, for it is bursting within our hearts

Foreign nation’s bring to us God’s justice

Mercy appears as an enemy marching

False prophets are outnumbered by false teachers

Courage is lost

Greed called wisdom

Sacrifice an abomination

Is all lost

Not all that has been gained by Him

Eternity is not but for a moment

The lives of men is less than a vapor

Suffering will do her work

Wisdom will break forth from neglected fountains

Justice from pain

Glory in the brokenness of spirit

Death everywhere

Men and women

Having done what was asked

Dying to follow Him daily

Not fooled by the pain of it all

Compelled by unseen visions

All is lost that all may be gained.

why do we serve the Lord

do we judge
